Hey Guys, So yes everyone knows I am a Lux Guy, but I am looking for another Filter Queen. I have the Princess II and love it. They seem to be hard to come by around here and honestly don't have the kind of money that they are going for on eBay so was wondering if anyone had one in there collection they would like to sell? Hope everyone is having a great Friday!!

I would recommend the triple crown or special edition models.I don't have any now but if you get a incomplete system I have several parts in my ebay store.

I asked the same question

But never got a response.  I have a Princess II, and was wondering the differences myself.  A few I notices off the top are  the body of the machine and the cone guard are plastic instead of metal.  That's all I could see, but I'm sure there are more.

Princess

Princess was vac store only as Filter Queen continued door-to-door.Princess was one speed,no chrome, small power nozzle.First (1985?)white with red atts.Prin II all gray.Prin III added ball wheels and longer electric hose.Great vac as same quality/performance of FQ.

We used

to refer to the Princess as the poor mans Majestic when I worked for Filter Queen. The Princess, though it was a more stripped down model (three wire motor, no chrome, no ball casters) did have a longer crush proof hose and lower profile head which was a nice benefit.

I recommend the brown or tan model FQs (31 & 33 Series)  Even a Majestic Triple Crown or Princess; those are better than the Majestic LE onwards.

The FQs with automatic cord winders are getting harder to find; I wish FQs were still made with auto cord winders.

btw, I installed a 30ft cord & bought a 10ft long hose for my FQ K31X
