Hi guys.

Just won one on eBay, with an intermittent fault with the hose.

How tricky is it to get to the wire terminals to clean it up and get it running well again?

Thanks

Sam

Hi Sam,
Congrats on winning the Electrolux dolphin.
I'm not sure how easy it will be to sort the hose out. I hope you are happy with it when it arrives.

Do you have a you tube channel by the same name as your profile name here?

Hey James.

I'm pleased with it now and I've not paid for it yet! And its a machine that features in my lux service book so very handy too.

Yep, I'm beko1987 on yet too. You can meet my other hobby lol

I like some of your videos. I love your Electrolux 412. Never seen that model before.
Something else to go on my hit list lol.

Was the Dolphin the lilac one that ended today on ebay?

That's the one! Walked out of the office, got in the car, it flashed up with 10 minutes left, popped a bid on and had won it halfway home!

The seller does not think it has small tools, but never mind!

The 414 is nice. Has a repair and the suppressor removed from the motor though.

Well let use know when it arrives and how you get on with it.
I have the same model Dolphin as that. I got it off a friend who used it as his car vac. It was complete and in good condition once it was cleaned up.

I won the same sellers other Vac the Electrolux 4x4.
I've been after one of those for a while now:o)
They replaced the Dolphin as the TOL model for a short while.
I'll let you know how I get on with that:o)

I saw that, but it didn't take my fancy. I've seen your dolphin in an old thread, it looks very nice. Are they any good for a bit of daily useage? As nice as the Miele is I'm getting a bit bored of it now!

I look forward to the pictures of yours! I'll get mine up when it arrives! Bags and filters already in my watch list for when I need them!

Hi, Yeah I prefer the Dolphins to the 4x4 but I don't have a 4x4 as you never see them now as they wasn't out for long. Also if I remember correctly they was the most expensive cylinder Electrolux at the time on sale.
Still I'm looking forward to it arriving:o)

Out of all 3 of my dolphins I'm not sure which is my fave. Possibly the Lilac one like yours closely followed by the white one:o)
As a daily driver I'm sure you will get on with it well. They suck well and are nice to use. But that's just my opinion.
I don't use any of my collection vacs as daily drivers. So they stay in as good original condition. Hence I have 2 or 3 duplicates I use as daily drivers:o)
