Hey Guys!

I need some help here.  Can any Electrolux experts tell me what the correct power nozzle STYLE is to the  Diamond Jubliee? I also have a Silverado with a power nozzle also. One PN is a PN6 and the other is a PN5. The PN5 has a silver/chrome looking label while the PN6 is matt finish beige/taupe color.

I know this should be easy even for me to figure out but I can't remember which PN came with which machine.

The first Diamond Jubilee which came out in 1984 had the PN5 (later silverado PN) in a greige color, the later DJ which came out in 1986 had the PN6, in a greenish color, this was the first PN that had the carpet/floor switch on it, my opinion the best cleaning power nozzle Electrolux has made, we use a PN6 with a very rare green bristle brush on it on our Vacuflo 766 central vacuum. Hope this helps.

I bought

a new DJ around '84/'85 and yes, it was the PN5 and in the greige color scheme. Then we bought a Sidekick as soon as it came out. In a couple of yrs, we got an education on how to take care of a LUX hose...first one got frayed. Motor eventually went out on the DJ...Sidekick kept tuggin' along though, with a slight repair.
