What are you asking about, the Hoover Z or Convertible? Yes, Hoover manufactured some Convertibles with cord reels, and they are quite rare. Learn to search in the archives for questions like these. Create a Google search for what you are looking for, then add site:vacuumland.org to end of your keywords. I just typed in "hoover convertible cord reel site:vacuumland.org" and found an archive thread with a picture of exactly what you were looking for.

Then they are not talking about a Convertible. Upright Hoover model numbers begin with the letter U, and older examples are just straight numbers. The Hoover Z 700 from the mid-2000s is blue; could they be talking about that? It could very well be that they just don't know what they're talking about, and giving you missinformation. That has happened to be many times.

They called the Hoover Z "convertible" in the way that it converts into a compact machine. It has a cord winder I believe. |
