A few weeks back I posted about a vintage vac coming up at an auction. Well the auction was today & I walked away with this treasure. Turns out it is a Frantz Premier, a rare find these days so I am told & from research. It is around 100 years old. It's kinda rough, but considering it's 100 years old, I love it. I cleaned it up a bit, it was pretty nasty. This was almost thrown away b/c they thought no one was going to want it.

When it comes to the really old machines I can tell you, as I love this stuff. There were three Frantz boys and they worked with inventor James B. Kirby. The frantz machines were to go on to become the early machines in the General Electric company.

The history is far too complicated to go into here but the story of the vacuum cleaners from 1910 late 20's are fascinating.
