Vacuum cleaners...

...always make the best birthday presents! My grandparents, who have always been very encouraging and supportive in my hobby, bought me a Hoover Constellation for my birthday when I was around 14, and it has yet to be beaten as 'best present ever'! Apparently, it's also quite rare, having an orange body and white base - could have been a department store exclusive, perhaps...no one over here seems to know!

I know the feeling...

On Christmas when I was 8. I got my frist real vacuum. A Royal handvac brand spanking new out of the box. Not sure of the model but of course it came out with the same color upright. Red and grey bag with a grey handle. My grandparents bought one for themselves which today I still have both. One in the original box. I do use one or the other on occasion. My grandparents supporte my habit as well.

Happy Birthday Jace!

And yes that is quite a nice find -- very rare to find an Electrolux Model XI any more. Hope you'll not be tempted to conduct any "Dr. Frankenstein" experiments on it, haha!
