Ebay may be a good place to start.
I was looking last night. There are two older models and a newer stainless steel model with no attachments.

If you have any Constellations you are willing to part with, I would definately be interested in one. I'm also still interested in your Kirby Tradition, if you still want to sell it. That is the model Kirby I sold when I worked for the company (along with the Heritage) and want one for my collection. I used to have one, and am still kicking myself for giving it away.

Constellations

I think I have had 14 different colors.I do have duplicates including the first blue non-floating that can and should go to new homes.I have sold at least 2 on EBay and more need to go.They range from complete in box (that I may not sell)to machine only.Would you have hose or any atts? Also have extra bags, some genuine.

Constellations

JFAlberti-The yellow/tan & yellow/dark brown were once found here and I should have extra.Maybe with tilt base.---Hoover94-I have duplicates of many starting with first. Many have at least hose stored with but many atts are separated.I might be able to find original atts or at least some newer button lock atts.Value might start at $10-$20 plus packing/shipping.(Keep in mind that if anyone wants a road trip in what will soon be spring, put your shipping money in gas tank and come fill your car!)-Jimmy-423-297-6918

Does anybody know where you can get a Hoover constellation in the UK? as I have also been looking for one for the last few years. I've tried Ebay and Gumtree but with no luck. If anyone could let me know where to get one, or if you want to sell one in the UK, please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

-Joe

Constellation In UK

vacbear58's profile picture
There is a good model on ebay right now, see the link

It is not cheap by any means, however these jade green models are reasonably rare, its in good condition (apart from some minor damage to the hose clip) and is complete. The seller (NOT me) is a collector so this is not just something pulled straight out of a dusty attic

Thanks Al,

It looks like it's in good condition, I think £115 is quite a lot for it, but I'll have a think, and I might go for it.

Thanks Again,

- Joe

I do agree with what you say however when a basic two peg Hoover hose goes for £39.50 + £6.50 shipping you do begin to wonder .....

In this case this vendor is personally known to me (and on here too) and I have no doubt that, at least from his side, the auction was completely genuine.

I'll definitely be in touch about one of your yellow Connies.  Then my yellow/white Convertible will have a play mate!  :-)  Why do I have this sneaking feeling there may be a yellow DAM out there with my name on it?

It just shows you how high demand they are.

I have a couple of extra Connies to get rid of if anyone is interested. I dont have all the parts for them though. Both are the original style with the hose dead center in the top. One blue one tan. I will have to dig them out though, clean them up and see if they work.

Paging Joe, Paging Joe

Here is another one in the UK, not nearly in as good condition as the one previously listed but the price is a lot more reasonable. Obviously it does not have the original hose, but the connector is there and Hoover tools are pretty easily available

I placed a bid on it, but it ended at £28 but that's a bit much to say it was rusting and i didn't have the original hose.

I'll just keep looking for another connie, and I'm sure my patience will be rewarded.
