Well I couldn't wait and went up to see how the silicone worked and it worked very well to plug the leak. |

Thanks Pete! I'll be off to Lowe's to pick some up today. The break on my Hoover hose is not all the way through, so this may be a good preventative from doing so. Glad you got the bags, isn't that a great stick vac? Rick |

It is a great little stick vac thanks again. I'm next going to try smearing some of this silicone stuff thinly near the coupling ends of my Elux woven hose where it's leaking |
