Jason, I knew you would like the fact Ryan & I have matching machines!I was actually thinking that as I was buying this one. That was the biggest reason I bought it was to have matching machines. John, I can see that it's definitely built to last! Very solid & that cord could be used as a tow rope it's so tough. Not that I would ever entertain that idea! :)

I have one too. That is a very good find,mine is also that same model but i had to replace the bag and carbon brushes and it works like new. | ||

I have a Hoover Guardsman just like that-got mine from the former Vacuum Cleaner Hospital-Was in the customer not pick up after 30 days pile.The customer had it fixed-but never claimed it-his loss--my gain! | ||

I posted in the "Super Market" forum about this, but somehow the one I had was lost. I'm really wanting to get another one as this is a vacuum I really like, and I had put a lot of time and effort in making mine very nice and almost 100% complete. If anyone has one of these that they would be willing to sell for a reasonable price (I'm not willing to pay huge money for one, or most other old vacuums for that matter either) or trade, please let me know!
