Do you by any chance have any other spare parts laying around? I am seeking a hose for my Hoover Dimension 1000 canister vacuum. This hose is in very bad shape and seeking a replacement. Preferably of black or blue colored materials as they were much better.
Attachment lock is chipped on edge and does not work well. Suction unit connector has an area that appears to have been badly broken or melted at one time with wires showing and plastic pieces separating. I dare not even bother to investigate the terrible mass taped area at the top of the hose which sort of locks the hose in a curly Q position as well. I can only imagine how it awful it probably looks under there covered in sticky tape residue as well! Thanks very much to anyone that can offer help!! |

Thank you for the post and thoughts. Please keep me mind if you know of anyone or see any coming in. My canister works great. I got it very cheaply on Craigslist but the hose looks awful. Entire hose including 2 ends. I really want to maintain the style and not get a gas pump handled hose. I am trying to acquire Hoover hose part number 43433087. Could be a teal blue color to fit shade of machine or complete black utilizing hose material of Hoover Windtunnel 1st generation canisters. I'll watch eBay to see what sort of canisters you are putting up. My collection is in good shape, so sadly I most likely won't be acquiring anything else but am always happy to see pictures of great units!! The "BEST LOOKING HOOVER CANISTER of all time" is this a new model or older model in terrific shape and is it a power team or straight suction? Just curious, thanks!!
