I have a friend who told me that he has two vacuums labeled as "Hoover Classic".  I haven't seen them yet.  But according to him, one has a red plaid bag and the other has an olive green bag.  Is he describing different Convertible models?  Thanks!

He might be mistaking Hoover for Kirby. The Kirby Classic III has a red plaid bag.

Of course!  I don't know why didn't realize that.  He has a Classic III and a DS-80.
