Happy New Year everyone!

I am new to posting and really enjoy this cite. It is so comforting knowing that there are others out there like myself. I have been looking for a Regina canister or Crown Jewel for 10 plus years. I saw one about a year ago on ebay that had a power nozzle. I should have bought it! I would bet money that a member on this site purchased it. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one? I check Ebay daily and have not had any luck. I have also checked Craigslist with no luck. There must have been very few of these machines produced.

Appreciate any insight.
Richard.

For some reason...

They are very scarce, I remember in 1972 My Aunt bought two of them for her sons, a discount store in Hickory NC called Brendles sold them, I also remember Iveys in Charlotte selling them, but you hardly ever see one now, they were a VERY good vacuum.

Welcome Richard,

I would also like to see a Regina canister. I have only seen pictures of those machines.

Hey Richard welcome to Vacuumland! There are alot of us collectors out here! Some in Kansas too! I am in Salina. It's nice to know that there are fellow vacheads not too far away. I don't know much about the vac models you inquired about. However there seems to have been a discussion of the Crown Jewel vac line on here just a short tiem back. I remember that was the first I had ever heard of the Crown Jewel.

Hey Morgan:

This is my Regina (with powerhead). I have also seen them with a powehead similar to the ones found on the Airway and Royal (Metal powerheads)

Regina canister for sale

I have one of these canister vacs. It was the first vacuum I bought as a young woman. The motor is very strong but the closure is slightly 'tweaked' and doesn't seal 100% properly. However, in spite of that it still works very well! I see they no longer make bags for it :-( We have one used bag in it. My husband proposes to try to clean the bag and continue to use the vacuum. (we have multiple other vacuums in our house to use!) I'd prefer to see it go to a collector. Please email me and let's discuss.
