I have a BRAND NEW, never used "Silver" anniversary. It looks good. I think that the dark blue one might be one of the finest models. That white and green one is VERY aggressive.... perhaps too much so. It was used here at a minimeet. One of the guys said, "Wow... look at all that dirt"! It wasn't dirt, it was NAP! |

I got that Blue Hoover Windtunnel Bagged upright from a yard sale. I was very excited when I got it and looking to keep it. I had used the burgundy Windtunnel Supreme uprights years ago at clients houses and liked them. So when I found this, my aunt and I were excited. It repaired and cleaned up beautifully. However I couldn't find any genuine Hoover brush rolls for it and the one in it was completely shot. It was so caked with hair when I got it that I couldn't see bristles and after removing some, I could see that the bristles were completely useless. I ended up putting a brand new CWP Windtunnel agitator in this vacuum.
OH MY GOLLIES!! What a TERRIBLE brush roll. I didn't like this vacuum at all with that horrid CWP. I debated keeping it, as my aunt and I were interested and I was going to give it her. I posted it on Craigslist and someone offered $75, so I let to go to them! I really was quite unimpressed and can't believe how much that CWP brushroll ruined the performance of these once great vacuums!! |

Durango, I really like the canisters... a few things I wish they had included but that's just nit-picking! The T-Series is believe it or not, still a cleaning virgin, haven't used it yet, got it on sale at Home Depot and haven't tried it out yet. |

Were there any bagged WindTunnels that had turbo brush stored onboard? Not counting self-propelled! |

Mine needs some clean up. Loaned it out recently, shouldn't have. But you should have seen it when I found it at the curb. Blech. |

My Hoover Windtunnel Plus S3639 canister above has turbine tool stored onboard along with the Hoover Windtunnel TurboPower 7500 S3649 canister and Hoover Windtunnel Preferrred S3641 that Lowe's carried. TurboPower 7500 is shown below.
As far as bagged uprights, I'd have to look into that, excellent question. I know bagless Wintunnels did. But the Windtunnel Supreme tool lid has stayed the same over the years only housing dusting brush, crevice tool and upholstery nozzle. Some display units in stores used to show turbo tool stored in one of the extension wands. |

When I move to my North Carolina home in 2016, I might consider getting an early 2000's model Windtunnel upright. |

The Windtunnel 2 Surface Command my friends found for me on someone's curb So I cleaned it up and wiped it down and it works very well.
The Second Vacuum In the picture is my Hoover Windtunnel "Premium" Bagless, I found this one on eBay with all the tool but I lost them. The belt also snapped in it and I haven't fixed that yet. The Third Vacuum in the picture is my Hoover Windtunnel Ultra, I found this one in a local Vac shop with a sticky-note on it stating "loner for sale $25". It had only its Power hand tool and its Extension Wands but I'm ordering a tool set of it. It works perfectly well for a vacuum of its age. The fourth Vacuum in the picture is my Hoover Windtunnel Bagless I got new in box on eBay, The reason its in such disrepair is because my brother (who plays hockey) accidently missed what he was trying to aim at and completely shattered the plastic on the base. I still don't know if the vacuum 100% works but I hope it does. The fifth and final Windtunnel I've got is My Hoover Windtunnel canister, I came this all of its Tools and wands but the seller on eBay who I bought it from forgot to send the hose to me, so he sent the hose to me free of charge :D. |

I end up with Windtunnels just by desperation at not finding any other vacuums, or I see a good deal on store salvage or Amazon return salvage and snag them. Most of mine are all new models from the past 10 years. I do have the twin chamber Windtunnel that got snapped in half in shipping, and I also have the first model Windtunnel that was later recalled due to the on/off switch melting and catching fire for reasons unknown, Hoover offered a free replacement/repair at the time. Mine has never been tampered with. I also have the recalled T-Series that was recalled for cord overheating inside the rewind housing.
