Isn't it obvious he meant to type $75.00?

Jamie, I certainly hope he meant $75.00, perhaps he needs to take some of the money IF he sells it (at a normal price of course) and invest in a new keyboard! I got so tickled reading that one, I just about choked on my coffee this morning!

Id understand if it was $750-00 - that's about £460 for this Sebo commercial vacuum and if its another mistake and supposed to be $75, well that's quite the bargain! Brand new they usually cost £250 to £300. The newer 370 commercial upright comes in close to £400.

Well I've seen my fair share of those vacuums for around £30-40 where I live so that's what led me to believe he'd missed a decimal point before the penultimate digit.

Have you seen a Sebo commercial upright priced at £40 or so much though?

Lowest I've seen these go for on Ebay is about £60 - any lower than this and they are usually spares or repairs.
The X4's and X1's usually fetch around the £70 - £140 mark in used good condition.
Good cleaners - that's why people are prepared to pay more than a few quid for them used.

I have seen those style Sebo cleaners on Gumtree in the past for that kind of price yes.

Problem (if you want to call it that) is, people these days wouldn't look at that kind of vacuum and think it is worth a lot, they'd probably think it is just really old or something so as such price it accordingly.

People these days tend to favour a certain brand, and those who like Sebos know that although they are old fashioned, they are very good and reliable vacs, and so are prepared to pay a bit more for them.
Those who love Dysons, of course they would look at a Sebo and sneer at it thinking it was a relic from the 80's - but Sebo still has a lot of devout fans.

Look at how old fashioned Kirbys are - but there are still a lot of people out there who would never own anything else but a Kirby, and still seem prepared to pay a fortune for them - although more people now would only be able to afford a second hand one.
