hi guys! i had an old spare filterqueen hose/wand/pn so i made a monster vac with an old henry HVR200!!! here are pics:

simple switch from a dyson for PN on handle :

FQ electric hose connected to an orange cable:

orange FQ wire goes round back of henry vac to an extension cord

ive tried it and it works!! bit clumsy to store though, and means 2 things to plug in!!

If that power nozzle is running 240V, then its very dangerous what you are doing, that dyson switch on the handle has live terminals exposed and could cause you an electric shock if you touched them. Be very careful when playing with electricity!
I know its tempting to modify vacs, but be safe when doing so.

well madabouthoovers i thought about that then decided that i'd better not touch the exposed terminals, just press the button lol

What Steve is saying is that if you touched the terminals by accident you could give yourself an electric shock which is not fun.
