took my Kirby apart yesterday to put in a new bearing and now it wont start up again. Could it be the safety switch?

Most likely it would have to be a defective or broken safety switch. A replacement is part #134380.

Should of known...

put a new safety switch on and still nothing. turns out one of the carbon brushes was completely worn, put a new one in and now it purs like a kitten!
