Does the Hoover Portable have any type of filter? Where does it go and where can I get one?

Yes, there is one.

You'll find a little vented door on the left side of the bottom...to the left of the switch. It 'pulls open'. You can use thin air conditioner spongelike filters. Simply cut to fit, and place it inside and close the door. The exact same thing for the Slimline, as the bottom half of the vacuum is identical. Hope this helps you.
John.

Or is he referring to the secondary filter behind the bag.

So there is a filter that goes behind the bag. Where can I get one?
Thanks
