Well, Today I went to a sale at a local middle school. Nothing, just 2 swivel sweepers, a bissell carpet sweeper(the new kind) and a shark hand vac, with no attachments. Then, I went to a flea market downtown, and found a hoover windtunnel turbopower. The cover for the attachments are missing, along with a bag, the cord had been replaced, but they didn't do a great job, and the light was burt out. I offered $5, and he accepted, after I noted it's "flaws". I have bags for it, and it has all of the attachments except for the wand. There was also a dirt devil featherlite there, the older bagged made in usa model, but I didn't buy it, because the bottom plated was separating, and had to be srewed back in, and it didn't have a belt. If I went back i may have offered him $5, since it's one of the better featherlites. I also went to a flea market next door, and they had one of the older bagged bissell powerforces that I asked about, but apparently, they keep all the vacuums they get because "they die out quickly"- so i probably won't go back to that store. I find it strange that they had three vacuums back there- a eureka bravo, eureka superlite, and the bissell, but apparently, they were all being "used". It wasn't a very big store, but it was dirty. And the vacuums they had didn't look to be taken care of, the bag in the bravo looked to have about 10 pounds of dirt in it! Finally, I went to a VOA, and I found a bagless hoover tempo for $20. At first, I wasn't interested, and then I decided to buy it for $15, because it had the light bulb, wand and new filters that came with the vacuum that I needed for my windtunnel. I know most people hate the bagless tempo, but the parts on it are really why I bought it. I'll probably sell it on craigslist, after i see for myself how good or bad it is.I guess it was a trip worth taking!!!!!

To add- At the sale I went to I passed up on a Bissell mini steamer for $7 . I almost bought it for quick clean ups but I passed because it was filthy and didn't come with cleaning solution. At the flea market where I got the windtunnel I passed up a eureka superlite for $7. I already have the older version of it and this one was very dirty. At the voa I almost got a Hoover breathe easy and a Kirby heritage 2 legend but the Hoover didn't sound right and was really dirty and the Kirby didn't turn on. That was too bad because it was in beautiful shape. My other Kirby has the same problem it does not power on. But a light comes on at the top. Can someone tell me what might be wrong with it? Thanks!!
