I am not a collector, but I have had a fascinating whole house cleaner (made by The United Electric Company of Ohio)that came with my 100+ year old house when I bought it over a decade ago. I am considering selling it on Ebay or Craigslist. Is that the best way to sell it? And is there a market for TUEC? Or should I just sell the metal for scrap? I will take a picture if I hear that it might be of interest to anyone.

I would like to see a picture of the unit if you don't care to take one. I've been thinking about getting a central vac for my work bench and I LOVE antiques, so that would be right up my alley. You can email it to me at vacman1980@gmail.com if you don't care. Thanks!

Steve

Pictures please

Once again we see that nothing is really new as your 100 yr old house could have had modern type heating, bathrooms, kitchen, lighting, etc and a central vac.Do any attachments(or possible storage box)remain, hose or hose ends, outlets(maybe round brass),switches(maybe one on each floor)??Pictures would help. There were actually many models and sizes.Sounds like a good restoration project for someone.

I'm wondering if you have the attachments too. I have a 1912 TUEC but no parts so I would like to see what they were like.
