Another new cleaner today, a great deal from eBay: a brand-new (but graded) £200 cleaner for £60! It's an Electrolux Twinclean Z8240. This is the top-of-the-range model, the Z8220 not having the electrobrush. There is a Z8230 which has an air-driven turbobrush, but I don't know if we have it over here...I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.

Although it's a graded product, this one seems brand new - not the least sign of use or damage. I'm very impressed with the performance, it's quiet and seems very well made (in the EU, not Asia!).

The tools..

...sit handily in the underside of the hand-grip, although oddly the upholstery brush doesn't have a place, and cannot be stored on the machine!

The twin filters...

Only one filter is in use at a time; when the 'filter clean' warning light comes on, you rotate the filters, and turn the dirty one 360 degrees by hand while the cleaner vacuums it clean. Thus, no messy filter cleaning by hand!

The Electrobrush...

Quiet but effective. 4 rows of bristles, 2 soft and 2 stiffer.

Of course...

...the American version comes with a HUGE electrobrush! Wish we had that!

Jack that is an amazing little machine. I just love it. Rather like the fact that the power nozzle is smaller as it would be great for most jobs. Sure sounds like a powerful machine and I love that little headlight. Thanks for sharing. Terry

Thanks guys...

...glad you like it! I've since convinced another hooverland member to buy one, since I liked mine so much!

I took it with me on one of my domestic cleaning jobs on Friday - it did a great job, and was much admired by the client!
