Hi all, I just bought a blue/grey dirt devil vision swivel glide yesterday for 25$ off of craigslist. Based on the warranty date, it's from either 2001 or 2002. It's in decent shape, and it has all of it's attachments. It works good too, and always wanted one of these, as these were made in the usa, and I don't have any bagless dirt devils. It's heavy, but I bet it's better than any dirt devil today. This is what mine looks like, but mine is a light blue. There is a video of the exact same one on youtube.

Interesting find. I've found that most Dirt Devils actually clean and groom quite well. The swivel glide is great when steering on carpet. I've had a couple that when tilting the machine back to wheel around room, the wheels jam up a little and don't always do well with that. The machines are loud though and filter cleaning is messy cause filter is in dirt cup.
Glad you like it. The model in your picture was shown years ago in a TV commercial with the Yellow Labrador Retriever puppies. Very cute commercials years ago from Dirt Devil!! | ||
