I got a near mint 634 from Rick B. in California. Thnks, also, to Victor' for making it happen. Now, I have the entire 'lineup' of that genre. Fab!! I also was given a 'curb find'... another Convertible 70. Now, I believe there are 7 70s here. yikes!

Congrats John, I really like the 634 model. I don't have one but would love to have one someday, Enjoy!

The 634 is such a pretty vacuum. I love the color. Rick B's packing skills are out of this world. His packages could survive a Nuclear Holocaust!

So........ He's shipped things to YOU, too, I presume?

He could send a raw egg to Europe, and, it would arrive there intact.

Yes, Rick shipped me an Electrolux AF body and it was so well packed. He did a fantastic job. Thanks again , Rick.

That design just screams 1950s. There's no question about it. It still has that HOOVER 'hum'.

Congrats John on the 634. I found one at a thrift store with a griege bag replacement. I sent it to the Kaplan Hoover Spa here in St. Louis, and when I got it back, he had made a new custom sewn matching bag with the Hoover name ebroidered onto the bag! I was thrilled with the results. He also put in new bursh strips and can use a C bag with it. The total spa treatment was a birthday or Christmas present from Marty. He's awesome with any Hoover resurection, he's done several models for me and they purr like kittens when I get them back.

What a beautiful 634! You're very lucky. I had forgotten that that bag was the third narrow-necked bag in the series, the other two being the 63 and the Citation 64, before the Convertible came out. I LOVE the color of this vacuum. Very classy.

I'm anxious to photograph that entire 'lineup'. Now, the hunt for a 150 continues........
