Hey guys, I have a question and hopefully someone can help me. I have scoured the internet over trying to find the correct font of the Silverado Deluxe logo on the older Electrolux vacuums. I finally found a printing company who is willing to create the Logos found on some of these units, but he would like to know what font it is so he can get it right. I'm enclosing a photo of the wording, if any of you know what font this is, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Answered my own question....

I've searched the internet over trying to find this font, I tried an OCR recognition program online and that didn't help, finally out of sheer desperation, I typed Silverado Deluxe into Microsoft Word 2010 and began changing the font to see if I could find something close. Wouldn't you know, I had the answer installed on my PC the entire time? Just in case anyone else is ever interested in reproducing the Silverado Deluxe label on the back of their Lux machine, the font you need to use is called Vivaldi. Oh well, I guess this thread can be closed now. Thanks!

My pleasure! I like trying to bring these old vacs back to life and that includes getting the logos and tags back to what they should be. I have created the Silverado and Olympia One warranty tags that would have been attached and hopefully they will be able to do a decent recreation of the silverado tag. I made one myself in MS paint, but it didn't turn out well because I had no idea what that design under the S was and I just free-handed it. I'll include my drawing here and if someone has a good photo (up close) of a Silverado tag in good shape, I would appreciate it!
