Hi guys,I own this Hoover Concept one,And when i sue the transmission (Self-Propelled model) It will sometimes make a slight screech,Like car brakes,What is going on?

Probably needs oil

...sure...how to do it? i have NEVER been able to greese or oil the transmissions on my hoover power drivers? Would any of you guys ever make a video of how to take care of them?
I'd much appreciare it.

what i would do is buy a new one or a hoover for parts and take the broken one and cut it open with a dremal tool to see what it looks like.

as long as the unit propells in both directions smoothly its fine.....try greasing the agitator bearings .....replace belts all prevent drag and cuts down on the screaching....new self propelled windtunnels screach .....they all do to some degree.....and being that they have not produced the concept or power max since 1994 ....its just old ....do not mess with it .....or it will end up in the garbage.....live with it its part of its charm

I have replaced the belts and will check the agitator and transmission tomorrow.
