Hey guys... I was using my Electrolux Diamond Jubilee tonight and it would down for about a minute and a half after turning off, so I assume that is the bearings... I've never gone into an Electrolux canister or serviced bearings before, so I thought this would be a good time to learn.... does anyone have any advice or instructions?

Thanks

I don't quite understand what you're describing.  Thanks!

I meant wind down! Sorry.... it just takes longer that it should and doesn't sound right! I forgot to proofread!

I've not had a motor take that long to wind down!  But if the bearings sound raspy or if they sound like there's grinding or grating, then they need to be serviced.  I've also heard bad bearings squeal/whine.

I don't either.... I don't know what I was thinking when I said that.... it's like 30 seconds, maybe 20, but way too long.... it still works properly and the suction is ridiculous, I just don't like that extra noise after I turn it off....
