Hi all! I have been wanting an Electrolux LX in decent shape for some time now. I have watched a LOT of eBay auctions go by and even ran across one at a flea market, but they either were in too poor condition to fool with, or if they were in any kind of shape at all, the seller was asking WAAY too much for it! I probably gave more for this one than I should have, but out of all the LX vacuums I've run across in my searches I haven't found one as complete (in my opinion) as the unit I finally settled on and purchased. It's an LX model from 1952 and has a LOT of attachments, including the vaporizer AND sprayer with the glass jar that has Electrolux on it! It has it's original box and manual and includes an electroulux polisher! The photo I'm including is an eBay photo of the vacuum, and I will post more when I actually receive it, but I am quite pleased to say the least! It may not be all original, but I can finally say I can scratch one of my dream machines off my list. The problem is I always find more I want, in fact my attention is shifting to possibly a vintage Compact vacuum, but that's for another thread!

Congrats on finding a dream machine! I just realized one myself. It's great to find them. Best of luck.

Congratulations!  You have one of the early LX models.  I have one identical to it, but the bag ejector was disabled when I got it.  That was disappointing, so I hope yours works!

The seller just notified me he is sending it tomorrow....I can't wait to get it and give it a good once over. I'm really hoping all the features work on it but I'll just have to wait and see. I will put up some more pics of it when I do get it!
