Nice!! I bought mine on ebay too, and with a little work, they can look as good as brand new! I also second the point that this vac is one that every collector should own. They are such quiet and awesome machines. Heres a picture of mine. Happy Vacuuming! Daniel :-) |

packed the bearings with fresh grease the other day that was fun now i need to get some attachments bought a new bag but cant get it to seal |

the metal lip on the new bag is larger than metal lip on the old bag i tryed swaping o rings but the new o ring works on the old bag |

that old hose did not seal good then i latexed the hose works like brand new thats the first hose i ever latexed |

Where did you find the latex at? Ive been meaning to do this to the hose for my Canadian Model 88. Was it at a hardware store or something?? Daniel :-) |

Knew you would find some, the XXX was a popular model with a long production run. Nice looking attachments, and a complete set except for the crevice tool. A little polish and they'll really shine! And the tool caddys are out there. May take you a little longer to find, as they were optional and not everyone had one, but they are out there.
