Will a Hoover convertible/Senior bag flange fit a sanitaire?

(I can't say flange without laughing. Grown up no? Ha.)

No, it won't. I don't know why you would want to, because it will probably reduce suction on the sanitaire.

The sanitare has a shake out bag and it's disgusting. I'm in the UK and parts for sanitaire aren't as widely available over here so I was curious to know before I imported the parts I need.
