Just a little question for the new Numatic owners out there.

When I looked through the 2012 InterClean Brochure, it showed some features I do like the look of. So, for example, the Clip to hang your floor tool on the back of the unit, 3D Face, etc. Are they been put on the new Numatics now, or will we have to wait?

I just don't want to buy a new Numatic to find it just the same as my old one!:/

Yes, the park feature will be useful I imagine.

I really don't know if the changes have occurred yet, you could always just go down to Tesco or somewhere that displays their Vacuum Cleaners to check.

I did that today, actually. When down to Tesco, went to ASDA, and they all have the AutoSave ones that first went out on sale. Then, when I asked at any of the Supermarkets or Appliance shops, they just said. You cannot open the box unless you buy. Once the box is opened, you may not bring the product back.

So, that was that idea out the window...

If anyone has bought a new Numatic within the last 2-4 weeks, can you let me know if they've performed the new updates? Thanks.

If they still have the standard ones, then I'd take it the changes haven't been applied yet.

You could always go onto the Numatic website and see what they say ?

Hmm, good plan, thanks!

My local Comet still has a 2006 Henry on display with the push down switch, despite stocking the current autosave models. I imagine the staff that work in these places wouldn't have a clue or even notice the differences between models.

Drop Numatic an e-mail - that will probably be your best bet. Are the new features displayed on their website yet?

Wow, that is out of date Chris!

You should tell them about it and offer them something for the display model they have, might get it cheap ?

I noticed when in John Lewis recently their display model was an older non-eco Henry. Presumably because to the average punter one Henry looks like another they don't bother updating their displays (no matter how annoying that may be to those who can tell the difference like us).
I would expect though as he's getting a new face & features they'd put the new ones on display. I certainly hope stores will as I want to see one!
I do hope that the new face thats being put on them won't spoil a good thing.

Dave

According to this link they are changing right now for Henry and Hetty has already changed.

Beware though, they call it a "Henry hoover", so if like me that angers you to the point of steam exiting your ears, don't click on it!
