OK The Other Day I Cleaned My Mom's Car So I Had The Grip Thing Attached and When I Went To Go Put Everything Back Together The Handle Wouldn't Decline. Why Does It Do That? I Told My Mom To Go Return That Stupid Vacuum, SHE Doesn't EVEN USE IT!!! I Think Were A Sanitaire Family.. lol

Is a switch, if I am not mistake, that locks it in a reclined position, for storing upright, to save room, as if you were hanging it. It might also lock it in the upright position.
