This is so sad. Decided to work on the F&G Eureka's today. Out of the 4, (1 brandywine, 1 big bad orange BOL, and 2 blue), 2 of the motors are totally shot, and 2 are probably repairable. Which means I must choose which 2 to repair, argh..

I know the brandyine will be fixed, its soooo pretty! I wanted to fix one of the blue and the big bad orange, (one of the blues was obtained as a parts machine). The blue will be an easier repair, as it just needs the motor replaced, the orange is a wreck, (shot zipper, every screw in it solid rust, etc etc).

I hate when a machine I wanted to fix is relegated to the parts pile..

I believe you recently sold a Compact on eBay.

I was the buyer.  It arrived on Friday in SUPER condition.  Did some cleaning and WOW!   I love it.  Perfect size for the trailer we just bought.

Thanks and Kudos for being a great seller!

It is a shame when that happens, you could always restore the others with new parts, but they are few and far between these days.

Compact

OMG, it was you!! I feel so much better now that I know someone from here got it. I was so worried it was gonna get beat up and used to death in some crummy nasty place that I almost kept it even though I dont really have the room and prefer canisters with powerhead. Now I know it went to a good home, YAY!

Speaking of ebay

I think, maybe, possibly, god I hope, that it was Dialanap who got the Big Bad Orange Eureka. If so, maybe he will confirm, and then I will know both of them went to good homes..

A good home.....

Today we take possession of the trailer we bought.  It is in an "all male" campground, called Jones Pond, in Angelica, NY.  That's about 60 miles from here.

So.... the Compact moves to it's new home.  It will be used and cherished in these new surroundings.

So glad it came from someone I can trust!
