I guess these light up when they need to.

This is a very powerful, and quiet vacuum!

and also...verrry heavy.

I paid 30 bucks for it at the local thrift store. A nice toy.

Who eles has one of these?

I love my Oxygen upright !

I bought mine new from a closeout company online a few years ago for a litle over $200.00 which was half the price of the one that was in Lowe's when I bought my Oxygen canister so I could get under the beds on a regular basis. This upright is one of the best thought out vacuums I have ever used. It gets dirt others miss, and is just ergonomic perfection.

The led headlight is nice!

I did buy new wheel bearings and a new whole back of the unit in case the wheels ever have the problem I have heard of over and over with these. If I had to keep one vacuum from a performance standpoint, this would be it !

My matching Oxygen canister.

I paid an extra $79.00 for the electrically powered hand tool and it really gets my two little guys hair that the Furminator misses.

Bag tip.

This upright pics up so much extra small particles that the bag needs changing sooner than expected, plus the bag being smaller. I order them when I find them at a good price. When Amazon had them I bought ten boxes to have them on hand.

i put

a white eureka style s in the vac. It fits perfectly.

The local vac shop wants $31.35 for a pack of 4 bags for this vacuum. I will not pay that price,, it is $7.87 per bag!

What do you pay for your bags?

This Electrolux upright aced Consumer Reports tests when it came out. I think the only area in which it got a "fair" rating was in "handling" because it's a bit on the heavy side.

Great electronic controls for adjusting the nozzle height without stooping, cord rewind, full set of three on board tools (hidden behind a door), electronic finger-tip brush on/off switch to protect floors.

Cool, sleek design.

Too bad the durability was a problem - I keep hearing stories about the electronic circuitry breaking and the rear wheels breaking......this is what probably caused Electrolux North America to discontinue the model.

Wow..........

What a shame that the bags are so freaking expensive for such NICE machines!

That could lead to a LOT of money if you like to change bags often. :(
