Hello Forum, My Dad gave me a Kirby Sanitronic still in the origional box with all of the accessories. I would like to sell it but I am not sure of the value. I have attached some photos. Thanks in advance for your advice.

I would say if it is in good condition meaning it runs good and there is no broken parts, then it may be worth between $25-45. But it's really only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

since you still have the big box, handi waxer, original bag, cord, manual and IF it has ALL the attachments inside the box are in good condition, since the vac appears to be all original, i would pay 75-100 considering what you have all there. about $20 more if you have the handi butler with all its parts and original box. but as drake said, its all what a collector is willing to pay for. what you have with its completeness for an SVII is quite indeed rare. esp with the original bag.

Vacuums are a very limited market. (Like anything!) you have to find the right person.
It's hard to put a definite price on ANY vacuum., NIB or not. I always say: "It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay."

But that's amazing hat you have that machine NIB, and I really enjoyed that pic.

I'm willing to bet that it was used and just put back into the box... You'd need detailed photos to tell that, obviously.

Hi, By the look of it in the picture it don't look NIB. It just looks like it was stored in the box once they stopped using it.
Still at least it's all ben kept together and is in original condition:o)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think it was used a few times. Most of the accessories are untouched. I may be listing it on e-bay in the near future.

Since it appears to fairly well used, I'd say that $45 would be a good price.
Hope this helps.

Go to Ebay...

This is not an appraisal site. It is for serious collectors. May I suggest you post your cleaner on Ebay for 95 cents with NO RESERVE and see what it brings. That will be the true measure of what it is worth. Hope this helps.

Could kirbybag please translate his message.
Is it "How much do you WANT? Is it in good working CONDITION? Nice Kirby. It would sell on ebay for the RIGHT price. Let me KNOW. Thanks."
Grammer and spelling seem to have become a thing of the past.

Your Kirby Sanitronic-is it still for sale?

MoonRoc,
Do you still have the Kirby Sanitronic that your Dad gave you?
Are you wanting to sell it? Give me a shout out if you do.

I guess some of y'all didn't see the guy's post where he said he "may be listing it on e-bay in the near future."

Meanwhile, let me blow the dust off my old essay about the value of vintage vacuum cleaners:

Also, this thread is almost a year and a half old... I would highly doubt that the person who joined and created the thread has ever been back to the site.

Kirby Sanitronic 562 / VII / D50 boxing

Hi! I have what I believe is a complete boxed Kirby Sanitronic VII & D50. However, the motor on 1 was already removed sitting in another box w/ the 2 rollers. The 2nd had basic vacuum cleaner removed & set up w/ all its accessories still in the big box w/ attachments box Inside. Does anyone here have photos of how they came boxed. Mine essentially looks set up like the 1 in photo at top of tread but when I managed to get motor in and stand up parts fall to bottom. Was there pudding that kept things in place?

Thankx in advance!

Kristopher

while I'm at it,

super-sweeper's profile picture

The DS80 was packed in Pistachio, the 1-CR & Omega came in Chocolate, the Classic III in raspberry, the model 557 in liquid rubber, the Generation 19 in liquid paint (white), the Sanidition in vinyl cassettes.....

The list goes on and on!

I'm sure the Sanitronic originally discussed in this th thread is long sold, or worse!

The Classic Omega actually came in Rosewood and the Classic III came in candy apple red.
