Found this at the dump over the weekend and brought it home! It purrs like a kitten! It was missing the cord but i had an old extension cord that fit for me to see how it ran! I would like to find the correct cord for it if anyone has one they would part with and would also like to get the original handle... the one on the machine has and "E" on it. There was a woven hose with it but i left it because it had been ran over or something had crushed it but I did get the floor tool! It has been a while since I used an original Electrolux floor tool and I dont know why! It doesn't seem to push the dirt like the one i have been using for some time. Thanks for looking! let me know what ya think!

I love it. its to bad about the hose. My great grandmother had this vac, and then us when she went into a home. Then my grandmother gave it to my aunt after i begged her not to and she distroyed it.

Good luck with it, I love the hum of an old Lux. =)

Model L

Looks good. Great machine.Gold is last of Ls before brown Special. The handle is correct. That E is for Electrolux and was there on Most Elux since mid 50s.That is why most customers on phone will first tell you they have an 'E'.
