People can buy whatever they want, but it looks ugly. I wonder how much the markup is on that. |

... one hell of a marketing idea. Should drive a lot of buzz. |

It's insulting to charge $1 million for a vacuum and have it made in China. Someone's been smoking something if they think anyone will buy a million dollar version of a $600 Royal vacuum (or whatever the normal price is). |

Yes,thats the final insult-the vacuum is built in China-was it plated there, too?A VINTAGE US built Royal would be cheaper--and--BETTER! |

In my opinion it is the worst marketing idea ever. I bet in about two months they will pull them and claim they sold but none will have been sold. If I wanted a gold Royal I would pay the 600 bucks and have it plated my self. |

Wonder if a rich person would buy that vacuum anyway?Bet the person would pay a CONTRACTOR to do the vacuuming-and the contractor would bring his own vacuum-gold or not. |

And we thought Kirbys and other DTD vacuums were priced high? |
