People can buy whatever they want, but it looks ugly. I wonder how much the markup is on that.

WOW!!!!!$1,000,000 for a gold plated ROYAL?????If you want an unplated Royal-they are MUCH cheaper-and will do the same job. Can't beleive this-Oh well, appeals to the folks that buy half million dollar Hi-fi systems.Maybe that vacuum should have been built out of titanium-gold color-and MUCH stronger metal!and the price could be a lot cheaper! And as above the gold plated Royal is more expensive than the Half Mil Hi-Fi!!!

Brilliant

... one hell of a marketing idea. Should drive a lot of buzz.

SOB's can stuff their million dollar Chinese vac ...

It's insulting to charge $1 million for a vacuum and have it made in China. Someone's been smoking something if they think anyone will buy a million dollar version of a $600 Royal vacuum (or whatever the normal price is).

Yes,thats the final insult-the vacuum is built in China-was it plated there, too?A VINTAGE US built Royal would be cheaper--and--BETTER!

I mean, for a million dollars it should at least have a headlight....

In my opinion it is the worst marketing idea ever. I bet in about two months they will pull them and claim they sold but none will have been sold. If I wanted a gold Royal I would pay the 600 bucks and have it plated my self.

Wonder if a rich person would buy that vacuum anyway?Bet the person would pay a CONTRACTOR to do the vacuuming-and the contractor would bring his own vacuum-gold or not.

I don't think that they really intend to sell these... It's probably just a marketing thing. They have raps and stuff like that with it on their Youtube channel.
