I came home today to find my sister's room,WAs my vacuum room.Geuss where all the vacuums went?
PILED HIGH TO THE CIELING IN HER OLD SMALL ROOM!
I was devastated,A life has already been lost,For my little Hoover stick vac has snapped in two!My adavantage isn't too good either,But i'll be sure to give it a good bench job tonight :)
All those poor vacuums!Imagine going into the old eureka, hoover and every brand vaccum dump basement,Now add carelessness, Then multipy that by 5.That's how bad it is.

That's ....

.....an absolute disgrace.
I should pack your bags, your vacuums, and take yourself out of there.
Oh the shame.

Didn't they ask you before moving the vacuum cleaners?-HORRIBLE thing to come home too-all those machines you spent time &effort into collecting and repairing to be shoved into a heap!Guess time to go elsewhere-or pile the sisters stuff into a HEAP and see how she likes it!

That is too bad!

One day I came home from school and found all 30 of my vacuums piled high in the center of my bedroom. My dad took each one and stacked them up on top of each other. My Hoover 28 suffered another hood crack and a few nicks. Most of the assembled uprights were left out, but most of my machines are stored without the handles. Ugh a big mess. I almost cried. He said I need to downsize. I got rid of a few junk parts machines and cleaned the rest and put them back in a neater order.

Whatever happened to "ask me first" before you move/

Parents, brothers, sisters, whoever, learn how to ASK before you trash or toss our things into the dump, or another room. Good luck Alex, I hope the losses are minimal.

Were you given a REASON for this horrible act?

gottahaveahoove's profile picture
What was the rationale for this? Before I'd go on a slashing spree, I'd DEMAND some answers. Two wrongs don't make a right. But, do you need to borrow a BAT??? I've had recent access to one. Don't ask.

While what happened to you was not nice, I definitely wouldn't go about destroying your sisters stuff, For one its not right, #2 she could re retaliate and really have a go at your stuff. That would really be a disaster

Whatever you do..............

papasvacs's profile picture

Please be rational.

As many others have said, two wrongs do not make a right.

Is there more to the action than meets the eye?  Was it unprovoked or is there something you did or something you missed that should have been done?

Before you act irresponsibly, think and investigate.  Perhaps there is a reason behind all this that you can correct.

If not, then get John's bat............

Best of luck.  Work on the family harmony aspect first.

I don't think his sister had anything to do with it, I think the vacuums were flopped into her old room by someone else. I have definite opinions of people who throw out, move, or take things that do not belong to them without asking.

The reason is

super-sweeper's profile picture
She wanted my vacuum room instead, and without a care in the world had my cleaners and small appliances piled high into hers.
And don't worry guys,I don't need a bat.Turns out she needs to go to summerschool for flunking math. And with her out my way,Vaccum room #2 shall soon be underway!

Hi, Well as long as your vacs are unharmed that's the main thing.
Although.....I did have a image in my head of you dressed as Ripley AKA(Sigourney weaver in Aliens etc)with a flamethrower. Running in to the room where you vacs are and saying to your sister when she about to touch your babies...."Get away from them you Bi***!" It made me smile. Hope you have seen Aliens so you know what I'm referring to.

Alex....

Just let your sister know that this is not over, and you have a very long memory. Someday, she will need a favor from you, very badly.  You can either laugh in her face, or after much torturous conscience wrestling be magnanimous and come through at the last possible minute. By the way, where were your parents in all of this? Were there no lessons on respecting other people's property?

There are many, many opportunities. For example you simply not making here aware of something she would really like to know. Unless someone specifically asks you to relay the information to her, "Oh my, did you really wish you had known abou:t (Mary Ann breaking up with her boyfriend? The concert ticket that was available at the last minute? That you left your phone in the restaurant? That the date for the surprise party had been changed?) Even with Face book and texting, there are gaps in communication because someone assumes that surely someone must have told you.  A friend of hers stops by when she is gone, "I have no idea where she is or when she will be back" Look guilty and uneasy, like you know, but she made you promise not to tell, so when the two of them talk, her friend will be suspicious and interrogate her.  Teenage girls are all insecure and paranoid.  You won't have to do much at all to f*** with her. Teenage girls LOVE drama, so they will be crawling over themselves to talk to you to get dirt.  Just let on to them like the two of you are really close.   Your sister will deny it, and be furious with you, but you won't really be betraying any confidences, just playing her like a violin. Just watch for your opportunities, Alex. Play it cool, play it smart, and she won't be able to concentrate enough to get through math in summer school. Anyone immature and disrespectful enough to move someone's property without permission has enough issues to hang themselves given enough rope.

Where were the parents through all of this?

You are not along!! Ok, just fix the one's that got damage, and leave your vacuums in her small room, for now, and put a lock on the door, and only you are to permit to go in. I am in the same boat, or same vacuum you in. Well my mother hates my vacuums, I have over 30 vacuums, I only collect soft bag vintage uprights, She always came to my room and tell me, that she hates my vacuums, and wants to throw them in the alley, one day, she did put some outside of the back yard, before, but I manage to get them back, not to give up, sure I want my own place, I recently I move to my sisters room, and has plenty of room, but my mother wants to put my bother's king size bed in my room, cuz my bother had just rented his house to my other sister, so he had move out, from his house, to my mother house of where I lived, the bed is in the garage, of his house, of where my other sister just moved in, and is getting dirty. so I told her why can you put his bad in the back room? But my mother said no, I need to put a lock on my door, cuz I don't trust her, my bother did not mind if his bed was to put in the back room.
