Hey Gang
I don't have pictures but I had given to me a long awaited
Hoover 300. I have wanted one for a long time, as an Aunt
had one that I used in the 50's. My cousin found the attach-
ments to my aunts but said the Hoover must have been thrown
out. Stopped by a vacuum shop here in Columbus, There it was sitting by the counter. Asked how much he wanted for
it and said "you can have it". Cleaned up great, new belt,
has a zipper bag with a F&G paper on the inside. Which is
exactly how I remember my aunts in the late 50's, early 60's

Congrats Norm, on your latest acquisition! The 300 is a great vacuum. Coincidentally, I just got one last week myself. Bought it on ebay on Sunday, and it arived Tuesday--fastest I had ever received an ebay purchase!! It had cleaning tools with it, but either the wrong hose connector, or the wrong set of tools altogether. Found out from Tom Anderson that it was the LAST of the round motor Hoovers and was the economy priced model that sold next to the moderately priced model 25 and the deluxe 150. Amazing that we both got ours about the same time!

Congrats Norm...sounds like you got a very good deal indeed on your latest Hoover. Very cool too that you and Jeff both found them at the same time. Those are great little carpet cleaners and the last of the chrome coffee can Hoovers.
