I have received the most wonderful graduation gift from Greg Nunn today!

A brand new Compact C8 in box! Just like the one my grandpa uses nearly every day. It truly is a beautiful machine. The colors are quite a bit more vibrant than my grandpas tired old dirty green sucker.

Reading all the warranty cards and misc literature is fun!

The fabulous tools all neatly packed away.

Doesn't Matter....

....If it's contemporary or vintage, because it is FABULOUS. It's quite something to see all those tools in mint shape, properly stowed in an undamaged foam tray. Be good to those aluminum floor and rug tools; those go for over $100 each as replacement parts. Is this a machine with a PN? I can see that its wand/tool system is the later one with the lock button.

Greg, that was a very nice thing to do!

Thanks gang! It really is a joy to have such a beautiful machine. I couldn't be more thankful for this.

I was also given a beautiful Airway Vita-vac. The last incarnation of the classic Airway. Will post more pictures soon of both! :)

The box

Post# 183063 , Reply# 11   5/29/2012 at 10:54 (4,343 days old) by Brandon_W_T ()

Some of the original bag had gotten stuck to the lid and left behind some paper. Smells like a brand new vacuum.

Nice graduation gift you've got. :P

Did the hose break from shipping?

Post# 183232 , Reply# 21   5/29/2012 at 23:40 (4,342 days old) by Brandon_W_T ()

The hose is wound a little tight within the packaging box, therefor considering its' nearly 40 years in that box, the hose just split naturally.

As I said here is a picture of the Airway Vita Vac. Didn't think it was necessary to start a whole new thread for one picture.

This is my new daily driver. Forgot how much I love this machine.
