I finally found another F&G Eureka for my collection today! The Goodwill had a Eureka model 1934 for $12, so with my 20% off coupon I didn't even have to think about it. I had seen one of these at a Goodwill before, but passed it up, and have regretted it since. The one I found has no visible scuffs, a perfectly clean brushroll with a good belt!

I got it home to find that the last user had installed a Hoover C bag without using the spring, so the outer bag was filled with dust. I was able to get it clean after a few minutes with my Dyson. Now it looks and runs like new! I just got done vacuuming upstairs and all I could hear was grit hitting the F&G bag. I was extremely surprised to hear so much after using my Riccar Brilliance for the last few days.

Anyway I really do love this machine. I adore the warm hum the 5amp motor creates over the sound of it beating the carpet. I think I went too long cleaning with bypass vacuums! You just can't no wrong with one of these Eurekas!

Sorry for the terrible picture. If you want a better one I can take another in the morning with better light.

What brushroll did it have? Was it a Vibragroomer?
