I liked the first Hoover Telios so much that I purchased a second one to keep at the other end of the house. I have ceramic tile floors, not a stitch of carpeting so I also got
a bare floor brush from the dealer. Here is a view of
the Telios.

I wonder if a good vacuum should be loud. Then you know it has good suction.

Or, as physics will prove, that most of the power goes into the noise..we all know the types of energy, kinetic, heat, sound etc..I don't think a vacuum cleaner needs to be more powerful than a thousand watts, anything more than that just makes a lot of noise and a lot of heat, which of course would be taking more energy than the actual suction, the kinetic energy..
