Are any blades missing off the fan, take a flashlight, look in the opening, especially near the ends of the blades, also, turn the fan shaft, it should have no sound, nice and smooth, if it is grindy or not smooth you have a bad bearing. Good luck, looks like a nice machine, one of the earlier Omegs's. |

Hi Jeff Welcome to our club. I have two Omegas they both are some what loud and are both in perfect condition boy do they clean. Try to get a four roll replacetment brush roll big differance in cleaning. Enjoy that Kirby I love my Kirbys |
