Does anyone else love these vacuums? I grew up using this beast of a vacuum. I think that this was probably one of the last American Drt Devils. This machine actually does a good job of agitating the carpet and I love the way the motor sounds. Here is a video of mine.

Swivel glide.

When I was little, I sadly brok my moms Elite 350. "Ducks and runs for cover"! So she went to Sams club and bought a red Dirt devil vision swivel glide and it came with the little Dirt devil plus handvac! I did love that vacuum alot! It lasted along time. Then a came across a green bagged swivel glide in the trash. As usual the handel was broken... But I fixed it up an sold it. "Kicks my self" Then in my basement in pieces is a gray swivel glide vision that I trash picked. I had used that motor for my homemade water filtration shop vac!
