Best Brushroll for Pets |

I have two dogs, one of which is a Golden Retriever. So I've always been on the lookout for the best brushroll for pets. With many brushrolls, my Golden's fur tends to get wrapped around it. I then have to use scissors to cut it off. However, I've found that a Eureka/Sanitaire VGII does a great job of allowing the fur to go directly into the vacuum. Fur rarely gets wrapped around it. Another very good brushroll for pets is the one designed by Kirby especially for pets. The wide spacing of the bristles doesn't allow much fur to get wrapped around the roll. What others have you found to be effective on pet hair?

I second the VGII one of the best for both long human and animal hair. | ||

I have always been impressed with how the Riccar, Simplicity, Cirrus and Sanitaire metal brushrolls handle pet hair. It is very uncommon to see them wrapped with hair, like you see with the Kirby, Filter Queen, Oreck and other wooden brushrolls. | ||
