These were at my local goodwill today. The Panasonic is like new but didn't interest me. I did consider the powerline though.

If I had the money, I'd have taken the Panasonic and the Eureka - Why didn't you!?

I have that hoover wind tunnel fantastic vacuum but my favourite is the powerline because it was the first Eureka I ever saw while working at Electrolux SA unfortunately  the sample went missing :(

Something isn't right with it. Sounds horrible. Haven't had a chance to tear it apart.

Those Bravo's were like that, they always made shreeky bearing noises after a few years of use. Some sooner than others. I still like the series though. That Panasonic is nice to, Mabe Ill take a ride up and get it lol. My local vac shop has (or had) that on sale for $279.99. Reg 299.99. Id never pay that concidering Sears used to sell it for $ 99.99 lol.
