A very impressive set. I have always liked the Hoover canisters of that style and they never seem to get enough attention from collectors compared to the uprights. Oh, by the way, it says 51 on the front of the box. Makes guessing very easy. | ||

Reggie, Congrats!! I notice that there have been a couple of those machines listed on E-Bay lately. I have an Ad for that machine that shows that same cloth hose. Does it have the bag cleaning mechanism? Would love to see how that works. Fred Nelson has a near mint machine, but for whatever reason I have never had the chance to see it up close. Morgan | ||

Wow! What a find! My Dad says his mom had one of these when he was a kid. He remembers working a lever that knocked the dirt out of the bag. Is there a way you can scan the manual? I would love to see what it looks like. Thanks Nicholas | ||

It is all original, and seems to have hd a very easy life. After cleaning the bag and pre-motor filter it runs very well and hs good airflow. | ||
