I am new to the forum. I have access to an Electro Hygiene Model 1-210, seems in good shape, is it worth collecting? I do not know anything about this brand. it is in its original box. Thanks for any information.

Electro-Hygiene was an upmarket version of the Royal. The brand ceased to exist in 1983 following unfair business practices.

I know @hygiene903 here could tell you more.

Thank you Ben, I hope @hygiene903 will check in, any info appreciated.

I will try to get some pictures posted. It is a canister type, seems older than any E-H canisters I have seen on the internet.

Mike, that is a beautiful 1-210 you have! Do you also have the attachments? Would like to see pics of the attachments and box if you have them. And to answer your question, YES, it is definitely worth having in your collection--I'd like to have one of those myself! It is a pre-war model, and sold next to the model 94 upright. I believe it was the first tank model of the Electro-Hygiene brand, and depending on when it was introduced it might have also been sold next to the model 80 upright, which was the first Electro-Hygiene upright.
I have both of these uprights in my collection, as well as a model 186 Royalaire tank, which is similar to the EH 1-210, except that it doesn't have the crystal chamber in front and it is charcoal gray instead of blue. Congratulations on a great find,
Jeff
