Oh and before I forget, my Electrolux 504 upright from the 1970s, this was from Electrolux Europes first EVER series of clean air uprights. Same basic concept as the Dial A Matic, just refined a bit. |

Great vacuum collection, Ian. When I think of Electroluxes, I seldom think of uprights, I love yours, and the Hoover Junior Deluxe the most here. The Hollandia De-Luxe cylinder is quite a looker also. Forgive the off topic comment, but I have a cassette tape of British pop hits of 1959 compiled by a Jimmy Savile, who was a disc jockey.

(and yeah he was a disc jockey, he's courted some controversy mostly due to his odd appearance and mannerisms ;p) |

Wouldn't mind one of them, i've got one (but non powerdrive) with a hole in the front which I had to fill in with some car bodywork filler. works well mind, don't half make a racket ;] cleans well though. |
