A woman at work today asked me whether there was an official name for the study/collecting of vacuum cleaners. I had to admit that I didn't know. Can anyone please enlighten me?

It's Connoisseur John :)

"Cleanerphile" - Very good Brian!

I'd call it - Vaclove.

ive....

wonderd this my self.....Vacuum collecting is not becoming such alien thing anymore, espcially since TLC has stepped in and the media. i think we kinda need to think about this.

calling our self vacuum collectors, often doesint qite give the instant idea that is needed, that simply imlies that we "collect", witch to the avrage person sayse we just collect vaccums no kowldge, or skill reqired. in then we have to sit and go through the concept of collecting.

i do like vacuumphile, but the suffex phile means lover of. that says nothing of colletion plus knolwdge. and same for vaccuholic, or vaclover. i do think Vaccum Connoisseur is close to the mark. since that applies to the other part of collecting. here i googled the synonyms for expert. and reading i came up with one. Practied vaccum Specialest. experianced, and lets people know that we dont just hoard machines.
