Does anyone here familiar with Royal know anything about the model 620 Heavy Duty Commercial wide-track upright? It was similar to the 618 because of its 18" wide-track nozzle, but the 620 (to the best of my knowledge) also had a cast headlight on it (a la models 285, 602, 606(A), 777 and 801).
The reason I brought this up is because I was looking at an eBay auction for a 1984 Royal Prince (complete with box and all literature), and one of the models mentioned which used the 18" brush roll was the 620. Its non-lighted equivalent, the 618, was more common. The 618 and 620 were replaced during 1987 by the 680 and 682 respectively. ~Ben |
