At a local thrift store I saw a Hoover Portable in orange/red and Seal Griege for $8. It's been there for months. I thought about getting it if the attachments and wand are inside to use on my Penncrest (Hoover) Constellation. I'm not a big fan of the Portables though: from what I've seen they are bulky and unwieldy to use. This particular Portable is missing the handle and has a shoestring in place of it. I think my favorite of Hoover's canister offerings at the time is the Constellation, followed by the Slimline and then the Portable.
